Mittkurs

For finance leads past the free plan

Stop paying an exchange fee on every software subscription.

Mittkurs is company cards and spend software for Nordic companies of ten to fifty people. Each card charge is paid from a balance in that charge’s own currency, so nothing is converted at checkout. Models read every receipt and suggest the account codes no rule covers.

No card details to start

We print Mynt’s and Pleo’s fees next to ours.

On software billed in USD and EUR, exchange is the biggest fee on the invoice.

No free plan, no credit, no mileage claims, no supplier invoices.

Five lines from a Premium invoice, and what each costs here

Mynt’s numbers come from its price list in kronor, Pleo’s from its UK page in pounds. Ours is the full list, and two lines go against us.

2.45% of 1.5 million kronor a year is about 37,000 kr. At 0.4% it is about 6,000.

Spendesk publishes no prices. Its platform and volume fees are quoted by sales.

Where your money and receipts are kept

  • Balances are held by an authorized e-money institution in Finland
  • Six currencies: EUR, SEK, USD, NOK, DKK and GBP
  • Top up by bank transfer. No direct-debit mandate.
  • If Mittkurs closes, balances go back to the accounts they came from
  • Receipts and statements are stored in Stockholm, with the ledger
  • Receipts are kept seven years by default. You can change that.

Your balances are held apart from Mittkurs’s own money. The exchange-rate risk on them is yours, and they earn no interest.

Receipts and codes

What the models read on a receipt, and who confirms it

No model posts a journal, declines a card or sets a rate; the close waits for your confirmation.

01

Every receipt - one model finds the fields, another reads merchant, date, net, VAT, currency and total

02

Your finance lead - accepts or changes every code the classifier suggests

03

Under 0.85 - the field stays blank for whoever closes the month

04

Confirmed lines - a crop of the line and its code, minus company, card and cardholder, pooled across companies for fine-tuning

Before month-end

August, ready for month-end

Each line is a charge, the balance that paid it, its receipt and its account code. A person confirms each one before anything is posted.

August’s charges, each paid from its own currency and matched to a receipt

Not a bank statement and not the journal. The journal is built from these lines once a person confirms them.

Sign-up is a business ID and a signatory check. Then top up in SEK and EUR, and create one USD card for your first subscription.

At month-end every charge has its receipt and code, posted or downloaded as SIE.

Pricier for a team of three

A company fee that doesn’t move when you hire

The invoice that started this was priced per user, and the sixth user ended the free plan.

01

The ledger and month-end cost us money to run. Your headcount doesn’t.

02

So a company of three pays €29 here, while Mynt Essential is free and Pleo Start is £24 a month.

03

That is also why there is no free plan, only sixty free days.

Every charge already has a currency. Converting it at checkout is a fee. Converting it when you top up, at a published margin, is your decision.

Where the cards work, and who can get them

  • Accepted wherever Visa is. No cash withdrawals.
  • Card numbers stay with the card issuer. We hold only the last four digits.
  • Mittkurs Oy in Helsinki runs the ledger. The issuer runs the cards.

Visa cards, issued to companies in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

Scope

Only your cards and your month-end close move here

Credit and expense claims stay with Mynt.

What's in scope

  • 01Cards for people and vendors: unlimited virtual cards, one physical card each.
  • 02Receipts read and matched, account codes suggested, journals sent to six accounting systems or saved as SIE.
  • 03Up to a hundred cardholders across five legal entities.

What we don't do

  • 01No credit. Cards spend prepaid balances. Mynt Premium lends up to 1,000,000 SEK.
  • 02No mileage, per diems or supplier invoices. Mynt handles claims in its app. We don’t read, approve or pay invoices.
  • 03Not for companies spending mostly in their home currency in physical shops. The 2.45% barely shows there.

Open an account yourself, with a business ID.

We send you the sign-up link and a short checklist. Want a call anyway? Bring a month of card spend by currency.

  • Sixty free days: two month-ends before the first fee
  • We ask about your foreign-currency spend and your accounting system
  • Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark first

We reply within one business day.
